It is a large group which was set up in 1983 by Allgemeine Schweizerische Uhrenindustrie AG and the Societe Suisse pour I ‘ Industrie Horlogere SA. It has the world’s oldest brand, Blancpain.
MOVADO GROUP
In 1983, Gedalio Grinberg bought t Movado and now his son leads the company. In 2004, it took over Ebel which was endorsed by Maggie Cheung. It also produces fashion watches for Hugo Boss, Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger.
Rolex
Hans Wilsdorf built up this stock company in 1905. And then it began to be famous all around the world. And in 1945, Hans Wilsdorf set up Tudor which was the second main brands beside Rolex of this company. There are brands belonging to this company such as Aqua, Genex, Marconi, Oyster, Rolco, Rolwatco, Unicorn, Wilsdorf & Davis.
