
Breitling has passions for developing chronographs and aviation. And it launches the limited edition legendry watch named Navitimer, which is equipped with brand’s homemade Caliber 01 movement. This watch highlights its extraordinary achievement in the field of creating aviation chronograph, and it is deeply loved by aviation enthusiasts. This new watch will fly on the sky in next spring. Such amazing and excellent watch will bring lots of surprise to the watch fans.
This new watch is carefully made by Breitling and it is equipped with homemade Caliber 01 movement. Two models are available for watch fans: the steel watch with 2,000 pieces and the red gold watch with 200 pieces. The watch diameter of “Navitimer Caliber 01” is a little larger than the one launched in before. The letter “B” is brand’s logo. For those years, Breitling has launched lots of excellent watches; therefore, it has accumulated numerous of watch fans. Those people are looking forward to the birth of this “Navitimer Caliber 01” watch.
In 2009, Breitling could develop its movements and become one of the brands that could independently create movements. Independently creating its own movements became an important milestone in brand’s watchmaking development. And Caliber 01 movement was the first movement that developed and produced by the brand. Now, the Navitiomer watch is equipped with this movement, which allows the new watch to show brand’s success in the field of creating aviation chronograph.
Navitimer is selected as the AOPA. This new watch becomes the most famous watch of Breitling. In 1952, the Navitimer “Cosmonaute” watch with 24 hours markers had been brought to the space by Scott Carpente. At that time, Scott Carpente boarded Aurora 7 spacecraft to explore the trajectory. And the watch became the first chronograph that toured the space. The new watch has two precious versions, including the steel watch and the red gold watch. Each case of the watch is engraved with sole reference. The transparent sapphire case back gives a view of movement’s structure.
