RICHEMONT
It is a large group that holds its own watch show, SIHH once a year. In 1988, a billionaire who was called Anton Rupert built up this group. And then his son, Johann acquired 10 main brands. In 2006, Minerva was assigned to it, and it began to make movement for Montblanc. The most historic brand of Richemont is Vacheron Constantin which has been built up for 250 years.

BREITLING
Until 1979, the company still belonged to Breitling family, and later because of losses, and then it was sold to Ernest Schneider. Today, Schneider’s son, Theodore is the president of this famous enterprise.

Here, what we want to say to this company is there is no other excellent model like them during 150 years in the field of watch.

And in 1945, Hans Wilsdorf set up Tudor which was the second main brands beside Rolex of this company. There are brands belonging to this company such as Aqua, Genex, Marconi, Oyster, Rolco, Rolwatco, Unicorn, Wilsdorf & Davis.

There are also other companies that have famous watch brands such as Bvlgari, Audemars Piguet, LVMH GROUP and so on. This is the deep knowledge that watch fans should know.

Patek Philippe Unveiled Ref. 3939 for Only Watch 2011

To support the Only Watch 2011, Patek Philippe created a unique stainless steel minute repeater Ref. 3939 watch made from the pure black enamel.

It is a so exciting news that Patek Philippe will participate in the 2011 Only Watch auction. The auction is assisted by Antiquorum auction house in Geneva. It will be held during Monaco Yacht Show, 16:00 on September 22nd. Auction proceeds will be used to fund prevention and treatment of Medical Research of Monaco Muscular Dystrophy Association.

To ensure the successful holding of the auction, all watch manufacturers must create a unique watch.

This year, the Patek Philippe once again proved its active support to Duchenne muscular dystrophy. To support the Only Watch 2011, Patek Philippe created a unique stainless steel minute repeater Ref. 3939 models, made from the pure black enamel. This particular Only Watch 2011 Stainless Steel Ref. 3939 watch is the final Ref. 3939 watch made by Patek Philippe.

Ref 5235 Patek Philippe’s First Calendar Correction Watch

In April this year, Patek Philippe has made a major announcement that every Patek Philippe movement will be added silicon components from now on. This news are enough to attract everyone.

Patek Philippe’s First Calendar Correction Watch Ref 5235 are showing in Geneva Patek Philippe Boutique.

Patek Philippe put three items in this watch. On Wednesday night, Thierry Stern and his wife Sandrine, shows pride in the Geneva store brand the three hands and the dial. Like Stern mentioned in an exclusive interview, Ref 5235 also includes a calendar. The inspiration of this watch comes from his father Philippe Stern inspired by a clock in the offica.

Secondly, this timepiece represents a fusion of Patek Philippe’s first stop function of the second hand of the watch. “Today we need no supports,” Thierry Stern explained, “Technology has matured.” Here, the frequency of this movement is unheard of 3.2 Hz (23,040 vibrations per hour times). “The accuracy and power reserve, it is our desire to achieve the best frequency,” he continued. Finally, Caliber 31-260 REG QA has the honor of Patek Philippe’s first watch which includes three siliceous components: escapement wheel, lever escapement and balance spring.

Caliber 31-260 REG QA is jewel automatic movement. It is 40.5MM in diameter and 10.65MM in thickness.

Ref 5235 Patek Philippe’s First Calendar Correction Watch has another new element, the Patek Philippe logo engraved in grey dial.
